Meet the Barns Lane Family

The people behind the vision

To dream up a great vision and build it into a reality, it takes many great hands and minds.

Barns Lane Farm has been lucky enough to have had a lot of great contributors but it is the dedication and passion of the founders that make this project a stand-out attraction for the Sunshine Coast and Queensland.

Meet our co-founders….

Helen Grant Founder & Director
A proud mother of two grown men, Helen Grant loves bringing people together to network and increase social consciousness. As a qualified yoga teacher and Interior Decorator, she loves creating beauty while also cultivating it from within. Helen sees Barns Lane Farm as the ultimate opportunity to combine her passion for people, health and sustainability, creating a space that will impact the Sunshine Coast community and have global flow-on effects.
“This will be a very special place. Promoting ecotourism and sustainable development, we will have something for everyone! Our goal is to connect people, stories and support our local producers.”

Jason Grant Developer, Founder & Director
Barns Lane is Jason’s dream on paper being brought to life. Dedicated to creating developments that add community value, Barns Lane Farm showcases his love and passion for local producers, sustainability and our beautiful Sunny Coast. Reinforcing the ‘clean and green’ reputation of Coolum Beach, his aim is to make it a must-see destination for good food and good times.
“For me, I am counting down until we’re open and running, when I can sit back with my wife, children, team and friends on the green at Barns Lane Farm, and take in the wonderful community gathering spot we’ve created together.”

Jonathan Leishman Founder & Director
At the core of Jonathan’s passion for business and entrepreneurship, is creating value and impact. Passionate about agriculture, healthy living and innovation, Jonathan believes Barns Lane Farm will deliver significant impact to the region he cares deeply about, and is his second home.
“I genuinely believe we will create a meaningful impact in people's lives, the local community and businesses through the networks, training and support we will be able to foster at Barns Lane Farm. Giving back to the local community and charities while we also support events and creating local job opportunities and careers, is also extremely important.”
